To mark Safer Internet Day 2012, on Tuesday 7th February, ActiveAge facilitated a round table and dinner involving leaders from education, business, the public sector, the third sector, academia and cyber crime protection in Newcastle upon Tyne.

The aim of the event was to discuss the key issues relating to the 2012 Safer Internet Day theme, 'Connecting generations and educating one another', and to disseminate its conclusions.

The round table brought together ActiveAge partners with other stakeholders in the North East of England working in Internet Safety, across generations,  to stimulate a lively discussion and debate.

The event was sponsored by Microsoft Corporation, a strategic partner of ActiveAge.
